2019tweis_chart_cwd-e1556542586956.jpgMorrowind’s pure RNG combat is a relic. It was even annoying at the time, so it’s no wonder that Bethesda moved away from it in subsequent games. Even so, it paired with the game’s character development process and gave players a reason to stick closely to their chosen classes and skills. If one didn’t either think of ways to quickly buff/build up their skill or invent tactics to give themselves an edge, then they weren’t going to get anywhere in Morrowind .

It took six years since EA got the exclusive rights to develop Star Wars console games, but last year we finally got our first, full-fledged action-adventure game from them. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order delighted with its story, gameplay and world design. Despite this, there were a few technical problems. In addition to bugs, glitches and frame rate issues, the game also suffered from, you guessed it, long loading times. This was particularly true when traveling between planets. Luckily, PS5 presents so much needed to boosts to load times.

Square Enix finally delivered its long-awaited first part of Final Fantasy VII Remake earlier this year. While fans anxiously await details on what’s next, there’s plenty of reason to revisit the game on PS5, now with less waiting time. Booting up the game and loading up a save file is much faster than on PS4, but we've noticed something weird with Final Fantasy VII Remake on both PS4 and PS5 compared to all other games we rested. For some reason, our testing found that it takes longer to load into a save file than it does to boot up the game. We’re not sure this is, but at least both loads are still an improvement over PS4.

For the Triumphs that require a certain Subclass to count, players will need to make sure they have that Subclass equipped prior to the start of a Raid Encounter. For these Subclass-specific triumphs, teams can still have a mix of Hunters, Warlocks, and Titans, as this will not detract from the Triu

It's been six years since the original Destiny was released and every year it feels like we're getting closer to finally facing off against the Darkness. Every year, however, we're told it'll happen later. Destiny 2: Shadowkeep last year made the most significant promise yet that Darkness was finally coming and Destiny 2: Beyond Light blows it. Destiny 2: Beyond Light is about as routine as Destiny 2 can be, offering a shallow campaign against a shallow antagonist, a new patrol zone, a new Strike and a new Raid. Stasis goes a long way to help freshen up the already great gameplay, but it does little to hide that a lot of content has been stripped away from the game and that we still don't have a new enemy faction to face. There are genuine elements of greatness in Beyond Light, including an intriguing subplot that should have been the main campaign and a great raid, phoneutria fera hand cannon but it's not enough to replace everything we've lost. Destiny 2: Beyond Light is another enjoyable Destiny adventure thanks to the lore and gameplay, but it does little to move Destiny 2 beyond the status quo.

A great example of this can be seen in the differences between The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. On a technical level, Skyrim is clearly superior. It looks so much better than Morrowind that it’s almost silly to compare the two, and its combat doesn’t suffer from pure RNG like Morrowind’s does. Skyrim’s point-to-point fast travel opens up new options for combat and exploration; annoying mechanics like stat drain spells have been removed entirely and character building is practically automatic. All one has to do is play the game. These are all things that make Skyrim much more convenient than Morrowind, but they don’t necessarily make it better.

The Avalanche is not a top-tier machine gun by any stretch of the imagination. Its primary use in Destiny 2 ’s PvE content is dealing with a hoard of minor enemies and should not be a go-to weapon for dealing boss damage or taking out high value targets. However, for players who wish to collect the weapon and must have a god roll for it (either because they like the aesthetic or because they are collectors), they would do well to focus on the following pe

Next, High-Caliber Rounds or Extended Mag would be useful for PvE in Destiny 2 . The High-Caliber Rounds trait gives players more range with which to work, improving their damage from further away. However, being a machine gun, the Avalanche can be more useful at medium-to-close ranges, making the Extended Mag trait (which increases magazine size by 30 rounds) beneficial. Either trait is useful for the coveted PvE god r

Heading into its fourth year, Bungie opted to release a direct sequel to Destiny rather than another expansion to deliver new content and improve on systems and mechanics in the original game . While Destiny 2 had its issues, many of the new mechanics were welcome improvements that likely couldn't have been added via additional expansions. For Year 4 of Destiny 2 , however, Bungie opted to take a different approach. Rather than releasing a Destiny 3, Bungie expands on Destiny 2 with another expansion, Beyond Light. Promising Darkness-themed powers, a new mysterious world to explore and a new Raid, does Destiny 2: Beyond Light keep the experience fresh, or is Destiny 2 just treading water at this point?
